Our profession is to work with our horses creating long lasting, solid individuals that are exposed to many different situations. Once we get a feel of their strengths we help guide them in the direction their talents point.
All of our horses are put through Brian's training program of cowboying and horsemanship. For more info click here.
Please talk with us on a specific horse. Because horses have been through, or progressing through our Ranch Performance program, their quality ranges from $10,000 - $30,000. Weanlings are $2,000 and up. Started horses are anywhere between. This is not a side hobby for us. We are proud to say this is our profession and strive to improve. We STAND BEHIND our horses and are happy to ride with you to make sure the two of you are a good fit.
SV Wild Cat - AQHA 2015 Blue Roan Gelding
Peep is a real eye-catching horse loaded with talent. He exemplifies what we are breeding for! Jadie put quite a bit of ground work on him the fall of 16' and started him under saddle with help from Brian. In January of 2017 Bri took over riding him. Brian says he has a lot of eye. He really enjoys working with Peep. He is being used for ranch work and gaining skills in the arena. He has a snappy turnaround and gathers himself up well. He is started in: roping out of the box, reining, and working cow. He could be a prospect for ranch horse events, sorting, roping, or just a deluxe saddle horse. We have put our 7 yr old on him just to ride out with Bri and Peep responds well! He likes us and will usually come greeting when turned out to pasture. 9/19' he measured just under 15.1 Hands and taped around 1150 lbs as a fit horse.
Whipped Out The Blue - AQHA 2013 Brown Gelding
Ralph...I, Jadie, love my raphly-poo, haha! Here is a big, brown/black, pretty gelding. He is home grown & on the down hill slope of our program. Brian has good body control on him, and I really enjoy riding him!! He bridles up nicely. I took him on the mountain for the first time (7/17) and officially fell in love. He picks up his leads easily, has a nice smooth spin, and a decent stop. He locks onto cattle well for his size. He is a solid head horse. Others have roped off of him with ease. He doens't get antsy. We took some friends that aren't around horses much for a mountain ride; Ralph gave an enjoyable evening. The young boys ride him on the mountain checking cows with Brian. He is easy to catch, loves to be pet, and has been gentle and safe. I would love to see him go to someone who he could build their confidence like he has mine. I will miss this guy when he's gone, but until then he's my fave! 9/19' he is 15.2 hands tall and tapes about 1,200 lbs as a fit horse.
Peppy Gold Girl - AQHA 2012 Bay Roan Mare
Girl....In the spring of 19' our 5 & 7 y/o stole this horse from Brian! She obeys them and stays in the bridle well! All the boys are having too much fun on her to offer her to another home yet. Brian really enjoys this one of a kind, powerful mare that has sailed through our ranch performance program. He continues her training in solidifying her in the bridle. She excels in the heading & heeling of team roping and been hauled with success. She handles cattle well and can gear up or down so easily. She has speed! She is above average to rein. She never misses a lead change and her turn arounds are good. Her walk is impressive; really moves out and covers ground. Bridle her up, ride her in a snaffle, hackamore, use your leg cues, this mare will respond. She is a horse he looks forward to riding at anything he does! A family member used her in a queening competition and took 1st attendant. Truly a hard horse to find with skills and talent. She stands just under 15 hands and weighs in a little over 1,000 lbs.
Bold N Golden Fever - AQHA 2014 Palomino Mare
Milly, is like me in ways. (Bri hates how I do these write ups, but I like personal & humor.) She is on the smaller side, has thin blonde hair, is chill and SO COOL TO BE AROUND! JK, the last two just apply to her. She could care less to be petted out in the field, but she won't run from you like you're a horse eating alien either. She is just EASY! Easy to shoe, easy to doctor, easy to get on, easy to rein.....you get the point. A relative needed to borrow a horse for a reining pattern in the 2019 Miss Utah Rodeo pageant. We gave her 3 options, Milly was her pick! She showed pretty well with only 5 or so get-to-know-each-other-rides with the new sequined pretty girl on her back. Brian has done an awesome job with her so far. She caries a bridle nicely & is GREAT at foot cues. She has this "rocking chair" lope. Our 7 y/o, is riding her and she likes him. Bri has shown her at ranch hand competitions where there is a reining pattern, cow work and roping and placed on her. She stands 14.2 Hands & tapes about 950 lbs.
*We threw her in with Frank, our stud. She is due to foal 2020! We are excited to see what this cross creates but not ready to put her in with the brood mares permanently. She is still being used, she'll just get an easier spring not calving but preparing to tend to her own little one! (Currently not for sale, Sept 19')
SV Jerrys Catnip- AQHA 2017 Bay Roan Gelding
Jerry is out of our stock Frank & Rhonda - who Bri finished training and rode 7 yrs. He showed Rhonda then she introduced Jade to the sport. Jerry is full of moves and smart! Brian has been using him his 2 yr old summer to check pairs on the mountain. Packing, he has done a bit of packing heavy salt blocks! Brian has been camping on him....I think he may try and show him as a 3 yr old (if he can find the time between working his other horses, dogs and spending time with his boys, ha)! (Currently not for sale, Sept 19')
SV GG Cracksa Cat- AQHA 2017 Blue Roan Mare
GG is out of a Spear V mare and stud. A friend put 30 day s on her Dec 18'. Brian maybe rode her 3 times between Feb-July 19'. Bri has started working with her more later in the summer. With the decision to offer Ralph for sale, I am excited to get this girl going! Plus her mom, Hanna, is Ralphy's full sister so I feel like I am not giving him up completely. (Dear GG, I have HIGH HOPES, no pressure, hehe.)
SV LGxxxxxx- AQHA 2018 Blue Roan Mare
